Join us at Book Culture LIC as Christopher Howard discusses his book, The Jean Freeman Gallery Does Not Exist, on Friday, November 16 at 7:00 PM. Howard will be in conversation with the artist and designer Kevin Regan.


Christopher Howard is a critic, editor, and historian based in Astoria, New York. He earned an MA in art history at Hunter College and has written for Artforum, the Brooklyn Rail, Modern Painters, Art Papers, and more. Howard won an award from the Arts Writers Grant Program in 2014. The Jean Freeman Gallery Does Not Exist is his first book.

Kevin Regan is a New York–based artist and designer. He cofounded and directed Famous Accountants, a Bushwick/Ridgewood art gallery, from 2009 to 2012.
